Before we met, my husband’s skincare routine was pretty much non-existent. To be fair, the importance and need for a skincare routine is not as emphasized for men as it is for women. However, skin is skin regardless of gender and some level of maintenance is definitely needed. Now, how much care is required is where the debating comes into play. 

We have made some leeway and cleansing and moisturizing is now thankfully a mutually understood thing. However, coming to terms with these practices was only half the work. The more difficult task was finding products that my low maintenance, but clearly not so low maintenance husband liked enough to want to use regularly.
